Why Your Light Seems Dim, Get Your Sparkle & Shine Back!

Everything inside of you is screaming to be released into this world. Your greatness is not planned or rehearsed; it is the unfiltered, full expression of you as a woman, unhindered by old wounds, failures, lack of confidence, rejection, fear, and unhealed trauma, just to name a few. If you’re still reading after I’ve touched on these sensitive areas, this blog is for you.

Often, we realize we’re not living up to our fullest potential but don’t know how to start tapping into the fulfilled and whole version of ourselves that can walk in the greatness we were destined to carry. Your level of greatness will look nothing like mine, but that doesn’t diminish either of us. It’s a space where we, as women, can celebrate and honor our distinct characteristics. In a world where everyone is working hard to fit in, let’s agree on this: This year, we will stand out like a sore thumb. Yes, we will wear the uniqueness of our character and the distinctness of our destiny like a neon yellow blouse at an all-black party. Are you with me?

If you feel hesitation about standing out, there’s some uncovering to do that will let your sparkle shine, release your dazzle, and bring the girl you want to be back to the surface. Life experiences can accumulate and rob us of our shine, but today, we say enough is enough. Your "enough" begins the moment you read this blog. Together, we pledge to shine our light in every space we enter and refuse to dim it for anyone, on any occasion. Are you in?

I hope you’ve made the decision that the healed and whole version of you is the best version—for your family, friends, and most importantly, for yourself.

It takes courage to decide to begin again, to reimagine what your life could look like if you dare to dream again. If you dare to hope again, that might be the key to truly shining once more. YOUR NEXT starts when you open your mouth and agree with God that He made you in His image and that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

Yes, I’m going Bible, because that’s where your new story begins. It begins with God revealing you to you—the healed you, the whole you, the fulfilled you, the purposeful you. The you that walks the path of destiny according to His design. Let go of anything that no longer serves you, and take the little glimmer you have left. Get with the only one who can renew the inner smile you once had—the infectious joy you may not have seen since childhood due to the perils of life. But I invite you to believe that you are important and that you were born for a time such as this.
